Privacy policy
Last updated October 2026.
This policy explains how Coastline Insulation Limited ("Coastline Insulation", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and shares personal information. We follow the Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry, quote and do the job. That may include:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- the address or suburb of the property, the property type and the service you are interested in;
- anything else you choose to tell us in a form, by phone, by email or on site, such as access details or photos;
- basic technical information about how you use this website (see "Cookies and analytics" below).
How we use it
- to contact you about your enquiry, and to prepare and follow up your quote;
- to schedule, carry out and check your installation;
- to invoice you and keep the records a business must keep;
- to understand how our website and advertising are working, so we can improve them.
We do not sell your personal information, and we will not send you marketing you have not asked for.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is needed to help you, for example:
- the service providers that run our website forms, email and business software;
- a Healthy Homes assessor, if you ask us to arrange an assessment for you;
- our accountants or professional advisers, or where the law requires it.
Some of these providers (for example our website form provider and Google) store information outside New Zealand. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected in a way that is comparable to the Privacy Act 2020.
Cookies and analytics
This website may use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how visitors find and use the site and whether our ads are working. These tools use cookies and collect information such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and roughly where you are. They do not tell us who you are. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out tools, and the website will still work.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, and then delete or destroy it securely.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email admin@
